ABOUT TROLL FURNITURE

Troll Nursery produces quality furniture for children. Troll has high quality requirements and they check every step from when the timber arrives for manufacturing until the finished product leaves the factory. The furniture is made in solid birch from the Nordic countries. Troll’s furniture is made to meet both European and American standards. The products are tested in several testing facilities.

The environment

Troll takes responsibility for the environment and works actively with improving the environmental impact. Water-based paint and glue are used in the products. Troll recycles product waste by using it for heating of the factories, among others, and they have developed their own recycling system for colour and glue as well.

History

The first Troll factory was opened in Smiltene, Latvia in 1994, for manufacturing beds. Only 20 people worked there, and they produced 200 beds per month. Today, Troll has more than 400 employees in two large factories, producing more than 15,000 baby- and child products every month. Troll Nursery’s products are sold in more than 30 countries.
